Squeaky's house

Not long after our baths our people started asking us if we wanted to "go see Squeaky?". (Squeaky lived with us years ago before going up north to live with little girls who feed her ham and dress her in pink tutus.) I knew then that a trip up north was in store. They always ask Holly and me, over and over, if we want to go see Squeaky or Parky or our grandmothers or somebody before we go on a trip - that's how you can tell. So, finally, after several days of hearing "Do you want to see Squeaky?" over and over, we got ready to go. I couldn't wait any longer so I went and sat in the car while everyone else packed. I called dibs on the front seat with the round thing but they made me sit in the back anyway.

"Squeaky"

We drove all day and then there was Squeaky and her mom and the girls. We were all happy to see each other.

"It's good to be fluffy."

We played with Squeaky's friend Buddy.

He's kind of a ball hog.

One night I got to answer the door about a dozen times for some kids dressed even weirder than they normally dress and we gave them candy to make them go away.
We stayed a couple of days, we got petted a lot and we got to pee in a lot of new places and then we came home.

Hey Pimm,

You're right about that 'Do you want to go....' question. Dad asks if I want to go on a walk. Of course I do. Let's go! Well, first he has to get his jacket, then his hat, his shades, some treats, some bags....By the time we start MY walk I'm ready for a nap!

It's always nice to visit family, dog or otherwise. You have a nice family. Bein' an adoptee my family is Tule, another adoptee, her humans, my humans and all my bloggin' dog friends. So I guess we all have a really big family.

We don't have any of those human puppies to bother us. Where I live there a lot of old humans whose puppies have their own puppies that come once in a while to visit. It is sort of borin' without human puppies to chase but it makes for nice quiet naps.

So, do you need another bath already?

Woof!

Humans always ask those questions. Do you want to play? Do you want to (x)? Sometimes I wonder how the species survived all these centuries; they don't seem like good listeners most of the time. Unless you are really obvious and bark. Then they get cross at you. *sigh* Whatever. :)
