I had a bath!
I had a bath today. It was unexpected but I didn't really mind. Once again, it was right after I had gotten myself smelling just the way I like it - stinky! I had just rolled in some stuff that smelled really great. It smelled like skunk and dead deer and pond mud - some of my favorites, but my male human made me take a bath right away. So I'm disappointed. I wish I could take a bath that made me smell stinky.

Wow what a great combination of smells. We don't have any of that stuff around here.
I have to go swimming 3 times a week so I don't get smelly at all. And sometimes I get kind of messy so Mom has to wash me off. I'm pretty darn clean these days.

Hi Pimm,
No the chlorine doesn't bother me at all. Mom washes me off with regular water when I am thru swimming. Some dogs get washed off before they get in the water too as my swim instructor says that keeps the chlorine off them even more, but I don't have any problems with just a wash afterwards. The soothing water has helped with my sores and they are all healed now.

I just had a bath today in Tammie's Mobile bath van thingy. Of course the humans thought I looked better and smelled better. Ha! That didn't last long. Ten minutes after Tammie left I was rolling around in all the 'good' spots in the yard. Ah, now I feel better.
