Hey Pimm, That's neat. My butt is usually slower than my head so I can grab my tail, if I want to, but that is not that often. Do you have a photo of your feat? That would be cool to see.
That happens to my friend Haley the lab - she is the fastest dog I know but cause I'm a herding dog I can stop and turn on a dime and she can't catch me! And especially then her bottom goes under her legs and she sometimes has to come to a complete stop.
My sidekick always says something like "The hurrier you go, the behinder you get" . . .

I just end up a little sideways.
That happens to me too, but my bottom goes under my front legs, so it looks like I'm scooting along the floor...at about 35mph.
Usually right after that I have to take a time-out.
